Temple of Melodious Sound

Among the redwoods.Imagine, if you will, the the sun’s early morning rays beginning to slant through the redwood forest, amid the sounds of birds, a lazy stream, and men’s voices lifted in song. The Temple of Melodious Sound convenes in the lodge prior to breakfast each morning of the Conference, and those who attend do not soon forget the feeling of acceptance and sheer joy in singing together in what we call “a perfection-free zone.” Whether you can carry a tune or not, all are welcome to come, to listen, to sing as much or as little as they want with no judgement as to quality of voice (and we really mean that!) Songs, chants, and usually a little poetry as well – produced in wonderful harmonies under the gentle guidance of Songmasters Doug von Koss and Richard Naegle.
